The cool crisp air weaves through the morning dew, the buds blossom into pale looking creatures. Tui's tweet in the Kawhai tree while the children dance around in the spring breeze. Spring has silently raised to life and sprinkled warmth and colour; replacing all winter's harsh ice and restored all the dead plants that hung lazily, snapping in the strong wind. Spring wraps it's warm hands around everyone bringing new life and joy to the world, helping flowers blossom and bringing the buzzy bees to collect the pollen. Sweeping through the air, the pollen dances around in the sky while the birds sing to each other in their excitement. Spring is finally among us; everyone is wearing their shorts and t-shirts while eating their icy cold ice-cream. The nice breeze is sending a shiver down my spine, I can see everyone with a big smile slapped across their face. Spring has begun!

Swimming sports moment in time
I walked slowly to the platform goosebumps forming rapidly on my sun-tanned skin. I looked nervously down at the water, it shimmered and sparkled in the sunlight and looked like a million stars glowing in a. dark night sky. A tingling sensation ran quickly down my spine as I heard a loud voice ring inside my ear buds sounding like a baby screaming. "On your mark!" I jumped into the pool and felt the cool water pinch my body.
"Beep!" I sprinted crazily my long arms cutting neatly through the water. My team mates cheered me on from there places and gave me the spirit to push harder. Suddenly I felt a vast rope wrap it bristles around my arms pulling me to the finish line. I scanned the the pool. I had come second! My heart jumped for joy whilst I did a small victory dance to myself. I looked up at the deep blue sky and saw the sun glaring down at me from up above making my eyes squint in the light. Its warm rays warmed me nearly burning me into small ashes. I stood on the grass. I am very happy.
