Fire Works

Do you think fire works should be banned for public sale?
In my opinion fire works should Not be banned. Yes fire works can be dangerous in the wrong hands, but if every one is safe and careful, fire works will be safe.

Firstly there are many positives of fire works such as, they are spectacular to watch, they can be used as a fundraiser, and also social events.

Secondly fire works are a childhood memory for people and memories are something we keep very close to us. Fire works make you feel happy inside and out and give you a warm fuzzy feeling.

Thirdly fire works brings people together to have fun and socialize, the government are thinking of stopping the fun and enjoyment by banning public sale of fire works.

So in conclusion I strongly believe that fire works should NOT be banned. they are a wonderful spectacular family or friend memory for people all around the world.

Hidden In The Shadows

Hidden in the shadows,
A striped form lurks,
He slips from the river,
Water cascading from his black lined fur,

From out of the trees a deer steps daintily,
Her torso quivering nervously,
She glances about looking for danger,
And seeing nothing she lowers her head to graze.

Deep in the darkness his golden eyes glow,
With silver teeth gleaming,
He tautens his muscles,
And flies from the grass,

He leaps for the neck,
Claws unsheathed,
She falls to the ground,
Her death is near,

And she gazes upon him,
With a face of fear,
Her souls unloosen and fly to the sky,
Her death upon her,
She leaves with pride.

winter poem

Winter

The Fog smudges itself across town,
The naked Trees whisper and sway like a gentle choir,
The light blue sky creeps through the cold and icy grass,
The snow types softly against the cold hard ground.

Hunter's Work day moments

The rain stings my warm face. My gumboots stamp through the thick, gloopy mud. The cattle beast moos a warm steam across the paddock. The red tractor groans as it attempts to get the cattlebeast on its feet. It drops, the ground shakes. As I can just imagine, how much pain he is going through. "we will come back later and try again" said Rodney. ,What will I do next, I say to myself. As I jump in the car a sudden warmness wraps around me like a blanket.

The Jump

As I stare up at the cliffs face it is almost s if it is staring down at us. I dip my feet in the turquoise, deep, dark water is as cold as ice. The rocks proveded stepping stones for my slippery feet. As I reach for the top rock at 8 metres I trip and lose my foot hold!!!

My shaking body is like the tale of a rattle snake. A sigh of relife rumbles through my bones like a pack of antalope carging down the hills. As my toes dangle of the edge of the cliff the shake returns rapidly. 123! go as my eyes close everything slows down.
