As I walk
up to the library of Cambridge High with my Mum, I see all these faces peeping
down at me, and I’m not so sure about the idea anymore. Too late now, it’s
happening.
We walk
about frantically in the rain, trying to get to the library. As we did so, my
head was a wave of good and bad thoughts: will Glynes like me? Will I mess up?
Will I …
At last we
get there, and I don’t know what face to pull, a happy one, sad one, scared
one? What’s the world coming to at the moment?
As we
enter, there’s a lake full of kids everywhere. When we look around, Glynes
spots us and says “hi” we walk over and she smiles. I’m scared.
Before I
know it, I’m in Glynes’ office saying goodbye to Mum. Then suddenly I’m at a
desk cutting out poppies and crosses for an Anzac Day display.
Later on, I
sort out DVD’s, peel stickers off book’s and replace them, issue books back in,
tidy up the library, write down numbers of books and finally I’m done.
Then Mum’s
by my side and my heart leaps for joy. Now I can go home and rest my tired
eyes!!
Wow it sounds Like fun
